26th May 2003 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: w sw Wind Stength: 5-18 Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 18 Sea Temperature: getting warmer Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Conditions much the same as the past 2 days very marginal on 8.5 (maybe should buy a 10.5). Was on and off the plane a lot with lots of pumping was good exercise I guess. Spent much of the day watching the beginers remmbering what it was like to have fun in less than a force 3 wind. Was about to pack up and come home but seemed to be a bit more breeze so decided to give it one last go before heading home. Im glad I did cos managed about 20 mins of planing back and forth with gybes and tacks at the ends and didn't have one dunking. I think its time for the summer suit though cos I felt like uncle ben's boil in the bag rice in winter dry suit. If the wind had been like the last 20 mins would have been 4 stars but only 2 cos it wasn't long enough |
